100K Hearts. One Grateful Voice.

I’ve been sitting here for a while, staring at this number—100,000. And no matter how many times I say it, it still feels surreal.

When I started SingwithAkash, there was no plan. No studio, no strategy. Just a voice, a love for music, and the belief that somewhere, someone would connect with it. That belief has been my pillar.

And today, as I write this on Independence Day, the milestone feels even more special. Because this number isn’t just about me. It’s about all of us. Just as our nation’s freedom was built on the strength of people coming together, this journey too has been about connection, unity, and the courage to dream.

I still remember my very first recording. Not in a studio, but in my room at 2 a.m., with no mic, a stubborn fan buzzing in the background, and my heart racing louder than my voice. I posted it anyway. And you listened. Some of you stayed. Some of you told me what those songs meant to you. That’s when I realized this wasn’t just me sharing music. This was us building something together.

Every follower isn’t just a “stat.” You’re someone who let my voice into your world. Maybe you played one of my covers on a rainy night. Maybe you sang along on your way to work. Maybe one of my reels gave you a smile when you needed it most. That’s what this milestone means. It’s not about going “viral.” It’s about connection.

And in that connection, there’s a kind of freedom too! The freedom to feel, to sing, and to belong.

This journey is only beginning. There are songs still waiting in my notebooks, experiments I’m nervous about, collaborations I dream of. And I want to take you with me on every step of this path.

So today, on India’s Independence Day, I just want to say: thank you. From the first note to the last one I’ll ever sing here, thank you for believing in me, for giving this dream its wings, and for making this community feel like home.

Here’s to the next chapter, the next song, the next emotion we’ll share: together, freely, joyfully.

With love and gratitude,
Akash
